Welcome to the website of the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), an open platform provided by the United Nations for discussion of key legal, policy, social and technical aspects of the Internet. The IGF meets annually. These meetings foster the dialogue between representatives of government, civil society, commerce, academia, international organisations and the technical community. The focus is on global Internet policy trends, current legislation and best practices. The 14th Annual Meeting of the IGF will take place in Berlin from 25 to 29 November 2019.
This video aims to present the main content and functions of the website and to explain how to navigate the site.
Next to it is the menu item “About IGF”. It offers you basic information about functions and goals of the IGF and its regular meetings.
The menu item “Be there” provides practical information for participants at the IGF meeting in Berlin. This includes details of the venue, accommodation and travel, visa issues, etc.
